KID MAC - U.S Tour Dates:

After 3 years of touring Australia & New Zealand with Mickey Avalon, the American artist has extended an invitation for Kid Mac to join him on his upcoming US tour. Kid Mac will embark on his debut tour of the States next week kicking off in San Antonio, Texas then onto Dallas, Houston and Austin with a final show in Santa Ana, California during the US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach.

Kid Mac's main support slot for the tour further consolidates the ongoing relationship with the celebrated Hollywood musician. The pair have recently spent time in the studio during Mac's recent trip to LA working on several tracks together for Kid Mac's debut album due for release early 2012.

Sony executive & former Australian Idol judge Jay Dee Springbett has been found dead in a Sydney hotel room.

The 36-year-old Sony music executive was found unconscious in a room at a Woolloomooloo hotel late yesterday.

He shot to greater public fame when he took over from Kyle Sandilands as judge on the talent show in 2009.

In his role as Senior Director of A&R for Sony Records, he has extensive experience developing emerging talent, first in the UK and in Australia since 2004.
